Job Description

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills / understanding of IT terms to communicate with clients efficiently.
  • Initiative and good decision-making skills
  • Generating business through online portals like Upwork, freelancer etc.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Finalising quotes with clients including payments & delivery terms.
  • Can work with Google docs/sheets and MS Office
  • Know how to make presentations per project requirement
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Should possess good Strategic & Analytical skills, Project management skills, Client Relationship Management, Opportunity Tracking, Business Proposal Designing skills
  • Interaction with Team members across different roles to monitor and control the project
  • Produce documentation such as Project Scope, Project Functional Specifications, Wireframes etc. following project development life cycle.
  • Actively involved in walkthroughs and meetings with the development team to discuss issues related to project development.
  • Responsible for liaising between technical and business teams for meeting customer requirements as well as solving problems on a daily basis.
  • Managing any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines.
  • Increasing client base and negotiating with stakeholders
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Conflict resolution

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform market analysis, research on competition and Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Support the team in daily tasks to ensure smooth and timely project deliveries.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Regular client follow-up.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Track individual contributors and their accomplishments and help the team grow.
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively
  • Upgrading skills and knowledge as per current market trends
  • Build long-term business relationships with new and existing customers

Key Skills Required

  • Hold degrees in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency using Google Docs/Sheets/Presentations, MS Office.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Good Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to associate with prospects and closing the deal, developing clientele.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
